3 Steps to ECDL/ICDL Certification...

1. Registration...
In order to sit the ECDL/ICDL qualification you first need to register with your local test centre and pay a registration fee. Details of your local test centre can be found at www.ecdl.co.uk for the UK and www.ecdl.com for the rest of the world.

2. Training...
The way in which you choose to study for your ECDL/ICDL will vary from person to person, to suit differing needs. CiA offers flexible IT training solutions to allow varied approaches to learning:

Open learning - CiA has written structured, self-teach open learning materials specifically for the ECDL syllabus. The courseware consists of seven books which guide the student through the course in a systematic style; this is ideal for distance learning, home study, or to support classroom based training.

3. Testing...
The final step in completing your ECDL/ICDL certification is to pass the examinations at your local test centre. Each ECDL/ICDL module requires you to sit an exam, which lasts for 45 minutes. Once all seven modules have been successfully completed, you will receive your ECDL/ICDL qualification.
